God provided resources through the Missions Supporters League (MSL), Wukari Chapter to pay for the land housing the missionaries' residence and church on Dir field. That ended the over one year of strife between the Madaki and the missionarsies, Pastor Joel Dukiya and his wife.
It also helped to silence the Muslims who were instigating the Madaki to sell the land to them. Issa Damaka and his wife joined the missionaries for two months for house to house evangelism and follow-up of the new converts. It was quite encouraging even though snakes in and around the mission base seems to have increased and one of them lies in the guest room where the Damakas stay.
The converts are responding to teachings and to the glory of God they can conduct church service and preach to some extent now when the missionaries are not around.
